Free wi-fi high-speed internet throughout the property and grounds.
On the ground floor, there is a dining area with seating for 8 and a spacious fitted kitchen with kitchen island and breakfast bar, a 5 burner induction hob & two ovens, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, coffee maker, kettle & toaster. There is plenty of crockery, cutlery and utensils for your use, with cooking items including pans, baking equipment & casseroles. There is even a selection of cookery books for inspiration.
The spacious lounge with ceiling fan is also on the ground floor and is equipped with sofas, a LED Smart TV with English Freeview TV channels via satellite and french tnt channels, and a DVD player and music system.
There is a separate toilet and utility room with washing machine, dryer and a washer/dryer together with clothes airers, iron and ironing board
From the kitchen and dining area there are doors leading out to a south-facing raised terrace with dining table and seating overlooking the pool and garden with far reaching views of the surrounding countryside.
On the lower ground floor, there is an open-plan family room with sofas and a summer kitchenette to complement the outside side terrace complete with electric hob, combination microwave oven, fridge-freezer and dishwasher. There is a games area with a games table and a selection of exercise equipment including exercise cycle, rowing machine and weights. There is also a toilet easily accessible from the pool and covered seating area under the raised deck.
The cinema room has a UHD LED Smart TV with English Freeview TV channels via satellite and french tnt channels, together with a DVD player and surround sound system. There is comfortable seating for 8 on three generous sofas.
There are a large selection of DVD’s, books & games, an internet radio providing access to worldwide stations and music systems with an iPod dock and bluetooth interface.
The master bedroom suite is on the basement level with French doors overlooking the pool and has a superking-size bed, sofa, ceiling fan, walk thru wardrobe and en-suite bathroom with shower enclosure, toilet, wash basin and hairdryer.
Bedroom 2 is on the ground floor and has a king-size double bed, a sofa bed that can be turned into a double bed, ceiling fan, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has french doors overlooking the pool and surrounding countryside. The en-suite bathroom with bath, shower enclosure, toilet, wash basin & hairdryer also has multicolour LED lighting and a bluetooth music system to provide a soothing and relaxing bathing experience.
Bedroom 3, also on the ground floor, has a zip-link super king-size double bed that can be configured as two singles, a further single bed, ceiling fan, walk-in wardrobe and en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has large glazed double doors to the front of the property which open out onto a private terrace with seating and table. The ensuite bathroom has a shower enclosure, toilet, two wash basins & a hairdryer.
Two travel cots and mattresses are available on request, together with two high-chairs and a baby bath.
Outside there is a fully enclosed garden with stunning salt-water heated pool (available for bookings from the end of April to the end of September and heated in High and Peak seasons) and south facing raised terrace with dining table seating 8. Under the deck is a covered seating area with outside furniture, coffee table and a gas BBQ. At the side of the house is a west facing patio with dining table seating 8 and access to the kitchenette. Parasols and sun loungers are also provided.
In the garden there is a children's play area with swings, a rotary washing line and ample parking for up to 3 cars on the drive.
The property has external security cameras which are used when the cottage is unoccupied. One of the cameras covers the rear of the cottage and has coverage of the swimming pool however this camera is turned away and not used during periods when there are guests at the property.
